ho acquistato da poco il notebook asus g1s con sistema operativo windows vista home premium. Già inizialmente ho avuto delle difficoltà dovute alla completa inesperienza con vista quali il passaggio da utente normale ad amministratore. Installando un software a quanto pare non compatibile mi si è riavviato il pc istantaneamente e al riavvio mi dava impossibilità di installare il driver per PLUG & PLAY BIOS EXTENSION poichè incompatibili con il sistema operativo e nemmeno il software era più installabile. Cmq tutto il resto funzionava, ho disinstallato la periferica PLUG... e ho continuato ad installare i miei programmi. Tutto bene finche stavo installando Panda Antivirus 2008. Installazione completata, è necessario il riavvio del sistema. Io riavvio ma dopo la schermata dell'Asus mi fa schermata nera. (PS avevo il mio lettore mp3 usb ancora attaccato al notebook al riavvio). Ora non c'è verso di accenderlo. Ho fatto fare un controllo della memoria windows ma non mi da errori. Non so che fare, son disperato, il notebook ha 2 giorni di vita! Help...

Vi volevo dire che premendo f8 all'avvio e chiedendo di tornare all'ultima configurazione di windows funzionante ora si accende. Ma vorrei sapere davvero qual'è il problema. ora non so mai cosa aspettarmi

Molto probabilmente è un semplice problema software, la schermata nera all'avvio era sicuramente dovuta a Windows e non ad un malfunzionamento del notebook. Secondo me non c'è da preoccuparsi ma sarebbe consigliabile un ripristino o una formattazione per migliorare la stabilità di sistema (l'applicazione che ha forzato l'avvio potrebbe aver compromesso il sistema operativo).

Sareste così gentili a dirmi come formattare windows vista?? Non l'ho mai fatto, solamente su xp, e siccome il pc è nuovo ho paura di far danni. Ormai non riesco più a ripristinare windows a quando me l'anno venduto.. ho 2 dvd uno RECOVERY DVD che penso contenga i programmi preinstallati e uno che si chiama support cd Windows vista 32 bit. Vi ringrazio tanto! Odio vista...

Si fa come su Windows XP....basta inserire il disco (penso che sia il Recovery DVD) e riavviare il computer. Al riavvio il disco dovrebbe partire da boot, a questo punto basta seguire la procedura. Se si avvia Windows Vista invece del DVD dovrai entrare nel bios e impostare sul boot sequence prima il lettore e poi l'hard disk ma solitamente non serve.

Ho formattato con i due dvd, sembrava andare tutto a meraviglia.. invece sul più bello mi dice "windows could not complete the installation. to install windows on this computer, restart the installation". Ma cosa diavolo devo fare più di formattare?!? aiutatemi.... :dry:

E' un errore abbastanza insolito....forse il disco è danneggiato. Per sicurezza prova a ripetere la procedura altrimenti devi contattare l'asus.

Ho trovato questa risposta su internet:

I think the problem is with the recovery disk and not with your hard drive. The recovery disk itself is not defective, and you can use it to restore your system. You just have to ignore the instructions that the disk gives you and follow the steps listed below.

I encountered a similar problem yesterday when trying to do a clean install on the Asus G1 with the factory recovery disks. Finding no solution on the web, I contacted their technical support department and was connected to a technician fairly quickly. He told me that the secret is to install the recovery disk and go through the entire disk reformat and @@153_ install ation process. When it has complete d, a window will pop up and ask the user to insert the drivers disk. The technician told me to just remove the recovery disk, force the power off by holding down the power button, and then reboot without any disk in the drive.

I was skeptical, but this actually worked. Better yet, it performed a truly clean install of Windows Vista without loading all of the additional drivers and utilities that typically come pre install ed on the system.

After the clean @@154_ install ation was complete , I used the drivers disk to upload the necessary drivers and everything now seems to be working fine.

Questo post parlava di una sostituzione di hdd, sto provando ora a fare come dice.
