ciao a tutti

ho un alienware m 15x con lettore blu-ray e ieri o provato a collegarlo alla mia tv philips full hd ma non riesco a sentire l'audio.
Ho provato ad andare su impostazioni di riproduzione e ho messo l'uscita display port come preferita ma sul tv non si sente niente come mai?

è un po' strano.. perche' teoricamente dovrebbe trasferire anche l'audio.. prova a smanettarci un po'

guarda che ho trovato sulle FAQ di displayport:
Q: I'd like to know if I use a DP --> HDMI adaptor to connect my computer to my TV, will I hear the sound with my TV or my computer?

A: DisplayPort does handle full HDMI signaling including sound but keep in mind that implementation of full HDMI signaling is an option the PC manufacturer must choose to enable. It is recommended that you check with the PC manufacturer prior to making a purchase and verify that the PC supports DP++ capability with HDMI. DisplayPort adaptors simply passes through the DVI or HDMI signal.

in soldoni devi contattare Dell e chiedergli se nella loro implementazione trasmettono anche l'audio

Quoto, il problema è che la DisplayPort è un'interfaccia molto flessibile quindi sul tuo notebook potrebbe proprio essere disabilitato l'output audio su un segnale HDMI.

gli ho mandato un'e-mail ma devono ancora rispondere!!!!ma allora si può abilitare outpot del segnale?
